Iceland Ocean Cluster has hired two new employees to strengthen the cluster’s domestic and international operations. Their key focus will be to advance the full utilization of seafood internationally as interest in the cluster and its project “100% fish” has grown significantly in recent years.

Svandis (Disa) Fridleifsdottir is a marketing and innovation specialist at Iceland Ocean Cluster. She holds a BSc in business administration from the University of Iceland, and her dissertation focused on the processing of byproducts in the fishing industry. She has also started and run her own company.

Julia Helgadottir is Iceland Ocean Cluster‘s project manager and executive assistant. She holds an MSc in project management with a focus on digitalization from the University of Iceland, as well as a BA in art history. Julia has a background in business management, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
