The staff of the Iceland Ocean Cluster had their hands full today introducing the new initiative www.verkefnamidlun.is on Career Day at the University of Reykjavik. This is an annual event held by AIESEC in Iceland for students and companies to meet. Over 50 companies participated in the day and introduced their companies and work to students. A diverse program was offered to students as well which included multiple lectures from companies such as CCP, Remake Electric, Arctic Adventures, Rannis, Kilroy and musicians playing.
The students were very interested about the new initiative and most agreed that this was long overdue and the need for better connection between the industry and students.
