The Iceland Ocean Cluster and the Danish cluster Offshoreenergy.dk, have increased their cooperation to promote knowledge sharing and cooperation for further development of the oil and gas industry in Greenland. The cooperation aims to utilize the knowledge of Danish companies in the oil industry and the experience of Icelandic operations in Greenland. The Danish cluster, which has about 270 companies and organizations within its operations also has a sister cluster in Greenland, named Offshore Greenland.

Offshore Greenland will also be working with the Iceland Ocean Cluster on this project.

The joint cooperation is a result of a NAOCA project sponsored by NORA and Nordic Innovation. The aim of the project is to increase cooperation amongst clusters in the Nordic countries in marine related industries.
