Codland hlaut viðurkenninguna „Best Presentation Award“ á The European Food Venture Forum í Árósum hinn 6. september síðastliðinn. Markmið Codlands er að nýta allan afla sem kemur á land og skapa meiri verðmæti. Þetta markmið Codlands vakti áhuga og athygli ytra.
Codland er eins og kunnugt er verkefni sem varð til á vettvangi Íslenska sjávarklasans og er nú undir forystu tveggja útgerða, Vísis og Þorbjarnar í Grindavík.Codland received „Best Presentation Award“ at the European Food Venture Forum in Aarhus Denmark September 6, 2013. Codland, a spin off from the Iceland Ocean Cluster, is now operated by two fisheries in Iceland, Thorfish and Visir hf., and its main mission is to fully utilize the Cod.
